The Shoebox. A place for lil' apps to live in peace and harmony.

A small, elegant RSS Reader for The New York Times. Inspired by the Mac OS X app Times, and my first attempt at a proper Ruby programme. As you can see, the code is ugly and hackish, but I might fix that. Someday.

Anyway, it’s basically just a RSS 2.0 reader catered towards the home page feed of the NYT. Have fun.

This is really fantastic. A strong demonstration of Shoes being concise. Bravo.

I added a slightly refactored version, in hopes of further work.

I’m having some trouble getting this to work with other RSS Feeds… Also, I’m looking into a way of rendering HTML (

, ) half-decently.

How do I use this?
