The Shoebox. A place for lil' apps to live in peace and harmony.

Shoes And A Shotgun
is a one click application development platform for the web. It runs a Thin HTTP server locally on a port of your choosing. It’s configured to use the Sinatra web framework at the moment, but it can be configured to run any web stack that plays well with Rack.

The file here is just a proof of concept. If you’d like to try doing web development with Shoes And A Shotgun you’ll need to grab the source.

You can grab the source at Github.

Or if you’re handy with the terminal feel free to fork me…

$ git clone git://github.com/hansineffect/shoes-and-a-shotgun.git

ToDo
I need to figure out how to listen for errors in Shotgun’s forked processes. It would be really nifty if any errors were logged using Shoes built in logging.
