The Shoebox. A place for lil' apps to live in peace and harmony.

Hi members,

I have created a small Shoes application, named sort-kun, Sorting algorithm animations using Shoes. (“kun” the suffixes which is added to a person’s name in Japan, like “Mr.”)

It shows 7 sort algorithms with animations. Please try this. Any comments, patches are welcome

thanks

One bug in OS X: I have to resize the window before any of the links appear. This is probably a Shoes bug.

Actually, “san” is more of a “Mr.” or “Mrs.” (or even “Ms.”) suffix. “kun” is used for friends or colleagues with which you have a closer relation.

In Shoes r970 Mac OS X, none of the animations are visible at all. It seems like an update probably broke the app’s behavior.

I like the app. Good educational tool.

FWIW, MLIST v 1.0 appears to work without error under

Shoes::RELEASE_NAME => Raisins
Shoes::RELEASE_ID => 2
Shoes::RELEASE_REVISION => 1134

Mac OS X Version 10.5.6
Build 9G55

How do I use this?
