The Shoebox. A place for lil' apps to live in peace and harmony.

A friend needed a way to search his drive and replaname all mp3s with a certain suffix so that they would no longer have that suffix.

My friend has no Runtime Environments for me to glom off of, and this would be to hard to make as a batch file.

So I made a shoes app. The shoes runtime is small and easy to download, then you just fire up the rb and you’re off to the races.

So anyone can use this gui app to recurse through any folder on their drive (windows unc file shares are untested though) and hunt for any files with a particular extension (.mp3 for example; leave blank to search any extension) and remove any suffix prior to that extension that they wish.

Fair use of gooey, good progress indication.
